Critical Role Videos Removed From Youtube

Affiliate links that I have put in the description of this video link to those companies that I myself have purchased from and had good dealings with as a consumer. I would recommend these companies! These help support the channel, and don't cost you anything to use, so if you're going to feed your plastic addiction, this is a great way to do so!

I'm really sad about losing between the sheets. The interviews were so great and heartfelt from all of the crew. Matt's talk about his body dysmorphia or Liam talking about his depression and how sam's friendhsip saved him. Or Sam talking about 9/11 and his wife. So much great story's.

I am just glad Ashley has friends that have her back.

Definitely an action of solidarity for Ashley.

It never even occurred to me that the reasons for removing the videos were anything other than to show support for Ashley. I suspect they may have done it quietly to avoid giving him any further attention.

Ashley isn't just 'their friend, Ashley', she's a founding cast member and co-owner of Critical Role Productions. It's entirely reasonable for the company to take this action.

Best part of UndeadWood- Matt was unknowingly sitting under the air conditioner so his hair was waving in the breeze all game. Also, it took me till episode 2 to recognize that the bartender was Ivan from king of the nerds.

The only thing I think is odd is that people think Mercer is the shot-caller of CR. He is the face, yes... But, Travis is the decision maker and business minded leader. I was mildly curious about what caused this, but after learning of what Brian has been accused of I can only agree with the decision. I would do similar. Hurt a friend and I will remove you from everything.

The difference between Brian and Orion is that Orion never perpetrated any violence toward another player outside the game. Brian did. The loss of amazing content sucks but I fully support their efforts to stand by Ashley.

Will we miss the content? Yes. Does it make sense and feel completely justified? YES.

It makes me sad to know Ashley went through a situation like this.

Yikes! But as soon as you mentioned Brian, it all made sense. I just hope Ashley's okay. (And that the internet leaves her mostly alone about this stuff. She was pretty stressed out at it becoming public.)

Really bummed about Between The Sheets in particular, which was the best interviews pieces of the cast… ever. And I don’t think they’ll be able to capture that emotion again. Obviously it’s for a good reason, but it sucks.

Their reasons could be both to end royalty payments and solidarity. I'm not surprised they didn't make any statement or announcement since they also have not made any statement about the situation. It only got out because the court record was filed publicly according to law. So Ashley didn't have a choice but to have this leak out for the sake of her own safety. Everything that was taken down is for sure a huge loss of excellent content, but at the end of the day it's their content and they can do as they wish when it comes to serious issues like this. My sadness at not getting to watch Undeadwood or Honey Heist again comically pales in comparison to the real-life nightmare that Ashley has been going through and the company's decision to distance themselves from Brian is more than valid. I think public speculation on the topic is both fruitless, because we know they're not going to open up about their private lives, and ultimately harmful because it's treating the cast and their lives as if it's all consumable content in stead of their lives as human beings.

This is what happens when your production company is a friend group. When one member of the friend group turns out to be abusing another, the company as a whole picks a side, and either the abuser or the victim gets the boot. The fact that the wagons were circled around the victim in this case speaks to the character of everyone involved.

I can also very easily see a scenario where either Matt or Travis went to their HR and Payroll heads and asked what they needed to do to cut the guy out of royalties and the company's image entierly.

I am also DEEPLY bummed by losing Undeadwood.

I'm glad somebody else is willing to speak about life in the Irish Potato Mines. 🥔⛏

I would have done the same thing, a truly manipulative sociopath would use a small thing like "Their still showing my content" just to worm thier way into the life and cause more strife and hardships. So screw the guy

I'm sad to hear Brian has fallen back into addiction again. It does explain why I haven't seen anything of him for months. Addiction really does turn people into monsters. :(

I wondered why Foster wasn't participating any longer. Kinda feared this very thing might be the issue. But so glad the CR family is circling the wagons and protecting their own. Sorry Ashley had to go through that and hope she stays safe!

Hey. Whatever is good for Ashley. What else would matter in this situation? I will miss the content - but sometimes doing good requires sacrificing things we want.
