I remember being a novice, getting into a similar situation like this with my group by sheer accident. "Are all of your kind this arrogant?" The dragon chuckled before repying. "Never arrogant. Only assured in one's abilities, and the complete destruction of those woefully inept in their's." I had no reply after that. What could I say? I was burned before the breath attack even hit me. 😅👌

I always did find it weird that her introduction had her talking in the 3rd person but not her later interactions. She just really liked letting people know her name

It depends on the type of dragon, chromatic dragons are indeed that dramatic, and total assholes. Metallic dragons however, can be kind if you can properly introduce yourself.

Umbracyle is the best portrayal of a dragon in my opinion. He’s clever and snarky but charismatic and cruel. He like to make his victims suffer and wants to melt you down to nothing both physically and mentally. Goated Dragon writing

Yes, dragons are all Dramatic especially done right but this is the best I've ever seen of a Dragon entrance other than the Desolation of Smaug.
