I just left JoBurg and I had a fabulous time. No issues at all. Everyone was wonderful, and I felt safe. I felt at peace for a change.

As I've previously mentioned that as a Melinated American I've lived and worked the broadcast industry in South Africa jhb 27 years and what I've experienced is that when you have a certain skill set which is needed you can maneuver yourself into amazing opportunities in South Africa 🌍

As long as you associate yourself with the right people and keep your head on a Swivel by staying out of harm's way you and your children will be safe.

Continued growth and blessings 🙏

Thank you my dear, for promoting my country so well.
Those that are scaring you away from South Africa come here every year, sometimes two, three times a year.
Some have bought homes here and are very happy here. And most of them come from white America, Europe, the rich Western and Northern countries!

In the future, I intend to reside in Kenya. I am currently studying Swahili, as it significantly aids in building relationships with the local community. This approach fosters connections with individuals, thereby reducing the likelihood of conflict.

Numerous individuals visit African nations and other regions to exploit local populations, engaging in activities such as sex tourism and other forms of labor exploitation for profit. This commodification of people often leads to local communities responding with resistance. The issue lies not within the criminality of the country itself, but rather in the behavior of these individuals. Such actions should not be generalized as indicative of the region's overall danger.

Hi Ashley, i am South African Black and proud this country has lots of opportunities, the sad reality is Black South followed politicians for too long with the hope of prosperity. Life is all about waking up every morning with a meaning. I changed my career to Forex Trading with the intention of finding Finacial Freedom, self-taught. Black South Africans like complaining a lot instead of putting up the work

South African violence is different to American violence for sure - more likely to get hit with a machete than a bullet. I'm from Cape Town - I have left South Africa, and I've been living in South East Asia for the past few years - but I miss my home, I won't go back because of the crime lol. But to be fair, Cape Town statiscally has more crime than Joburg, but Cape Town doesn't feel as dangerous in Joburg. Also, you probably don't experience the crime - because as you said- the wealthy people who can afford safety don't really have to worry. It's those outside of the wealthy circle.

Cape Tonian South African here, and I agree. Crime in both Jozi and Cape Town are usually overblown by the media and such.
