Your video is interesting. Difficult decision for a young person. I am older. I have learned that with tough decisions...there is always second guessing. The best advice, keep moving forward and living in the present. You're doing well.

I am probably much older than your regular viewers, I am 54. But I have been researching amputation because of a failed hip replacement. You are a very brave young person, as I am in a state of terror and I am a combat veteran. My choices are pretty limited, I can drag around a useless, painful leg or have it amputated at the hip.
Keep getting better, show this old curmudgeon the way.

I didnt have a choice, but that being said Im ok with a missing body part and wouldnt think of trying to conceal it.

How's the phantom limb thing going? Getting better? I am not totally sure but I feel like I've heard you mention having some of that in a previous video?

Pain bad enough to literally cut a limb off. I can't even imagine. 😮😢😢😢

Appreciate your information. I have CRPS as a result of an ankle sprain in 2009. Not properly diagnosed for over 10 years, so it's well entrenched. Standard medication protocol has been ineffective. Now on LDN and transdermal Clonidine, also ineffective. Due to delay in diagnosis, insurance has refused to cover a spinal cord stimulator trial. I suppose next step will be Ketamine. When all these options fail and doctors/insurance refuse amputation as the last viable treatment option, is a CRPS patient just supposed to "suck it up and deal with it"?
