In this English lesson I'll talk a little bit about why listening practice is both cool and important when it comes to studying English.

Of all of the areas you can study, it is the one you can do easily and for long stretches of time, and it can give you access to native English speakers as you continue to learn this amazing language.

Thank you very much Teacher Bob, for this lesson about listening. When I began learning English, I decided to listen to cbc radio one in my car, because for me to drive is a lost of time. At the beginning I didn't understand anything all the words were mixed, it was so hard, but I persevered and now, after several years of this practice, I understand almost everything and it's a pleasure to listen to Englih. I consume a lot, when I ride a bike, when I am driving, when I do the dishes and when I garden, all those manual activities which leave my mind free to learn! And it's true that it's the simplest thing to do!

I totally agree with you listening is one of the most important skills in english and quite convenience in order to listen . With a number of people, however, they are stuck on listening, they maybe don't understand cuz listening is harder than reading .
