Restoration On A Budget? Use What You've Got! - 55 Chevy Patch Panels

Показать описание
We've got a lot of patchwork to do on this 55, and ZERO budget to do it. So we're using an old panel we found, bits of the 57 2-door conversion doors and whatever else I've got laying around the shop. The good thing is, it's already starting to look like a car- the bad news? I'm running out of material for panels!

I like when you name drop other YouTube personalities that you guys look up to for their expertise, maybe you could provide a link if it's not too much trouble? Dan get over your still developing skill level, and quit thinking what you do is sub standard, it's the dedication and hard work done to safe standards that you do in record time, over time will grant you artisan status. I know it's all in an effort to tell folks hey this won't be concourse but it will be safe and reliable with a nostalgic patina. For the budget minded hobbyist what you are doing right now is a home based Shangri-La, showing budget builds with discounted equipment and tools that work into becoming eventually somebodies dream car. Bravo Danni and Dan keep hot rodding alive one car at a time!

I love the fact that show that someone doesn't need fancy expensive tools to do body work! Clamp it and weld it 👍

With every Tri-Five rebuild, there’s a man with a vision, a grinder and a welder. Nicely done. Cheers!! 😊

Take the wheels off the tool cart and put Dan on roller skates. Endless viewing fun.

Watching you work reminds me of some of the hacked together wrecks I have gotten stuck with in the past.

So this is an awesome revival! Your skills are saving that car! And the original green is a great color! Back in the early 90’s I remember a HotRod magazine 55 that they used nomad quarters on and if memory serves it is a green car. But you’re really doing awesome work to save what it is! 👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️

Dan I don't know if you can tell but I can tell that you are getting sooo much better at fabrication and the engineering of one-off repairs. It's really impressive to see and to watch, I give you all the kudos and respect that is due to you. I could NEVER spend that much time and energy and brain power on a piece of yard art, I just don't have the patience. That's why I buy all my hot rods running and driving . And that's also why I'm not making a ton of money on YouTube.😢 I was very excited for you when you found and decided to buy that new piece of property and get the new shop ALREADY BUILT, You and Dani both deserve it. Now let's figure out how to get Mur back in the picture.😊 P.S. it's kind of sad to see the 57 post just sitting there and gentle don't forget about the groin pull.

Bad boy mowers should sponsor you a mower. What company wouldn't want a up and coming hair model/hotrod builder to be their spokesman?
