We live in a time where Armchair Historian made a video about a war that started only a years ago. What a time tobe alive ❤

It’s awesome seeing The Armchair Historian cover the Russo-Ukrainian war. They rarely cover modern conflicts, especially ongoing ones.

I just recently spent a few days in the Ukraine to do some filming. Kyiv is intact but Kharkiv is definitely damaged. It's amazing that Kharkiv is still under Ukrainian control. Hopefully peace will flourish again here.

For some it may sound stupid, but for me in Ukraine to hear "conflict" is just heart breaking. War is so much more than just a conflict. It's like in 1939 Germany started just a conflict, not a war, that became a world war just a bit later. Every day hear air raid sirens and very often some explosions, when glass in my windows are vibrating. It's not a conflict for me

There's an indescribable feeling about knowing that I am watching history unfold at this very moment.

When I watch arm chair historian, every video i watch is him discussing events that happened years ago. Watching something like this feels weird. I can imagine kids 20 years from now and just starting to learn about this war.

It's interesting to me as someone still in school to witness something that, in years to come, will be taught in my history class to other people looking at it from how I look at previous wars myself.

I appreciate that you guys waited to do a recap overviewing the year in a whole, as well as planning to do the same thing next year. I know a lot of YouTubers who push out content on the war to capitalize on it and their information is so new that its often outdated or just wrong.

I would love to watch some sort of patreon exclusive breaking down the creative differences between covering various conflicts based on historical recency. Make this happen, and thanks for the content.

I love Armchair Historian but they should do more videos about modern conflicts like this one.

This is probably one of the only channels I immediately watch when I get a notification for a new video. I wait for others, not the Armchair Historian.

Interesting enough Ukraine gave up its nukes in the 90’s. Only on the condition that both the east and west would guarantee not to interfere with their borders.

Elite video bro. Keep it coming. I can easily follow the unbiased information and appreciate it greatly.

As great as your WW2 content is, I can't help but love your content about other time periods. Including the modern day.

Condolences to all the families of the ones lost in the war and hope it ends soon...
