The force restoring Anakin's lost vision from Mortis would certainly benefit the galaxy. It's just Palpatine wanted to use Force Illusion to plant different dreams on his mind, one that involves Padme's death by child birth.

You know something really sad. Anakin was always apart of the plan since sidous first met him. When the order was activated in one clone in the clone wars he ignored anakin. Anakin had been doomed since essentially day one.

I think there is an equally interesting possibility of Anakin, having visions of Order 66, believes there must be a reason there is going to be such a conflict between the jedi and the republic. He could then be easily persuaded by Palpatine of the narrative that the jedi would attempt a cue and should therefore be stopped.
This would also fall in line with the idea of most if not all visions we see in Star Wars end up becoming true, not inspite of them being premonitions, but because of.

I wonder what would have happened if Padme never died, obviously her death fueled Vader and drove him crazy, along with the sounds he had to hear because of his eardrum implants and the horrors behind the inside of his suit. It's just a thought but I wonder if she really could have changed his views and kept him on the light side of the force.

It was a pretty good and accurate what if star wars story. Although I wished Mon Mothma wasn't killed by Darth Sidious. But at least the entire Jedi Order isn't destroyed and can get reformed under Anakin's leadership.
