Very helpful stuff on shaders both here and on your web site. Thank you! I see you're using Atom as you editor. Which syntax highlighting package did you install? I'm trying language-glsl but it doesn't seem to recognize the .jsx file extension on Mac OS as a shader file. I suspect there's a way of fixing this but it's complicated by the fact that JSX seems to be its own programming environment. Any help would be great. Thanks again.

Great work! How to wrap a texture or picture around the sphere? Is that possible?

I can't replicate this. I have the patch and the shader file in a directory. I open the patch. Then I click on the toggle switch above jit.world just as you do. The result is the sphere as you note.

After that, I press on "shader shady" and nothing happens in the display.

Any thoughts? Running on an iMac with Yosemite and the latest Max from Cycling74.

The only line on the Max console is: viddll.engine version: 1.0.6

Hi Fede! I'm diving into shaders for maximum customization. Also started diving into TD along with Python. After all these years, which learning path towards GLSL shaders would you suggest? Many thanks from one of your numerous patreons. Keep going.
Please don't mind if I mention that you collaborate with Cycling74 devs (caught that info in one of your tutorial vids).
Get the best of days ;)
