Rishi Sunak has pledged a tax break for landlords and help for first-time buyers as he prepares to launch the Conservative Party manifesto.

The Prime Minister’s offer will include a 100% relief on capital gains tax liability for landlords who sell to their existing tenants, claiming the move will be “transformational”.

The Sun’s Ryan Sabey joins Mike Graham to discuss this further.

No conservative I know (including myself) is voting Tory. We are all voting Reform. I don't think Reform would make any actual difference in the end, but at least they claim to be against uncontrolled immigration. I wasn't going to vote at all because I didn't like Richard Tice, but I will now (despite Farage being for war against Russia).

If you've done well over the last 14 years and you don't care about anybody else vote Tory. If you feel as though you've had a bad deal over the last 14 years or you care about others vote for change. Labour, Greens, Reform, Workers, and any of the other lot.

It's a curious and novel thing that, with the rise of Reform, pretty much _nobody_ in the media seems to be on the govt's side. I almost feel sorry for them...not really though.
