Today Texas is #1 in wind energy in the US and #2 in solar. There are more higher paying jobs in renewable energy in Texas. Regardless of how people feel about climate change in the political landscape, these alternative energy sources are providing more jobs for Texas and helping to save the electric grids. Hopefully this continues.

The cost of energy is down due to the abundance of natural gas produced by fracking in Texas, NOT due to our leadership in wind turbine generation.
