Excellent can’t wait for the footage. I’ve been a member of FPV UK on and off for years. Fantastic what the membership gets you in terms of exemptions and liability insurance. I can’t get my head around so many people selling their expensive larger drones when there is a cheap simple workaround.

Good choice - I think the Air 2 complements the Mini 2 nicely 👍 I tend to use my Mini in more builtup areas and the Air 2 in rural locations, especially ones where its extra speed gets it to a distant location quicker

Good choice mate. The perfect set up now, having both the Mini/2 and the Air 2 . I love my Air 2, though I have to say its harder to find places to fly with it.

Please do lots of comparison videos with mini/mini2 things like video feed strength, wind, footage! So glad you went for this one Gavin, your YouTube channel just keeps getting better and better!

Nice drone! I really like that model especially when it was first released.
But since the Mini 2 came out which bridged the gap between the Mavic Mini and Air 2 nicely, almost matching the air 2 capability but enjoying the benefits the sub 250g class brings you now in the UK.
The new EASA regs kind of limited the Air 2 and where you can fly it without having to payout quite a sizeable amount and pass the A2CofC but even then because it will be a legacy drone ie won't have future classification markings, I'm sure they currently only allow a couple of years up to 2023 of legacy status and then who knows after that?😯🤔⚠️

Will be interesting to see what you think of it compared with your Mini 2 and is it worth making that particular model jump and what the benefits are! 😎👍

I have a Mavic Air 1st gen and I still love it. I will be getting the Air 2 in a few weeks. Been wanting one for a while now. I know the DJI FPV model is coming out but its really not my cup of tea. Congrats on the new drone! Looking forward to the content.

Congrats, you will love it. I fly mine filming landscapes etc, well away from people etc. I was going to do the A2 Cof C but seeing that the Air2 will be the last drone I own I t would only be valid a couple of year. Im now in my 60s and couldn't afford to upgrade in the future. Looking forward to seeing your Air2 vids

Great Choice. I have the Mini 2 here, Brand New in its box, from Argos, but I feel shattered now, plenty of time to sort it out as weather is not very good here, but I was going to get MA2, but where I live there's just no space, lol..can't wait until you get it in the Air, 👊
