I really do like how he is shown to be an actual good friend behind the annoying attitude in Chapter 2. Hell je actually even keeps offering Kris to join him repeatedly, like actually offering an olive beanch since he feels less need to keep up his smart kid position like in school. He even seems to seek Kris' approval after some tme spent with him and has genuine respect for him.

Then of course how he drops all his snark to be serious when his friend is both hurt and manipulated in the Snowgrave Route.

susie : destroying most of the people of the dark world in chapter one
kris : opening dark fountains and destroying and doing whatever based on us
noelle : doing a snowy laser and destroying a lot of monsters in the dark world in chapter 2
berdly : doing tornados in his boss fight and his character is good but is often forgotten by his stereotype and that stereotype is (NErdy LasER)
