Funnily enough, considering how much of a gamer Berdly is, I genuinely think that he'd be able to grasp the concept of someone getting controlled like an RPG protagonist fairly quickly.

When I watch videos like this I say things like "haha canon" or "this looks like it's going to happen" but then I realized that Toby may not have thought of Berdly as a relevant character and also may not come back to be important in the rest of the game, and that intrusive and unescesary though makes me sad ಥ⁠‿⁠ಥ

This feels like something that would genuinely happen if Berdly were to ever learn about the Soul-Control thing before anyone else did. It's wholesome, funny, and in-character for both Kris and Berdly. Also, someone else in the comment section said it before, but I'll restate it: I love the way you draw Kris.

"You, plugged into a controller, next to the soul... I don't fully understand. What are you saying?"
(Kris moves the joystick, and moves the cut out at the same time, with them moving in the same direction)
"So you're saying that someone is controlling you?"
(Kris nods, while Gesturing towards the SOUL)
"So what you're saying is that this thing is controlling you, forcing you to do things against your will?"
(Kris nods faster)
"Sounds like something out of a game"
(kris pulls out a chest labled: "Secrets" and points at Berdly, than at themselves)
"You want to keep this a secret between you and me?"
(Kris nods)

I feel like people jugde Berdly too quickly. Yeah, he's self-absorbed but he does genuinely care for his friends even if he mistakes the platonic bond he feels for someone as romantic. He is very quick to catch on that kris is controlling Noelle in snowgrave. He does care he just usually masks it as having a complex(which he probably does lol)
This honestly feels pretty in character for him. Yeah he would go on about ofc he'd be to first to find out but he would also share some of his secrets as a trade


I honestly didn't think it would be this long lol. While he isn't my fav, i do really like his character. Im really excited for his eventual arc
