This DELETED SCENE from Revenge of The Sith shows Yoda going into exile on Dagobah!
This would perfectly set up the Original Trilogy as we see Yoda still on Dagobah over 20 years later in the Empire Strikes Back!

No! The foreshadowing of Mass Amedda proclaiming “then he’s not dead!” and Palpatine putting out the order to the clones to widen their search after their, duel of fates, was enough.
