It didn’t just scared Nike but it also was the last great pair of speed boots adidas made until the Xghosted or XSpeedflow and something I dare say adidas kinda struggled to live up with its successors until the X18.1 which did had the adizero DNA to where it’s now with the X-Speedflow

I remember buying this and it was the best decision i've ever made. The feel and fit of the boots was absolutely amazing. It lasted 5 years+ without any issues as well! Miss it so much😢

my older brother used those boots and when I was 10 I used them and now my little brother wears them. they are still my favorite pair I have ever used

I've had these since release 11 years ago. The first and only boot which I bought the premium version. I started playing football again this year and they're still so snug and just perfect to ball out. I'm a giant and had done most of my growing by time I was 15, now I'm 27 and they still fit these big feet💪😎

I use to have this exact colorway.. the adidas logo behind the heel torn away. The outsole came off and gave away for free. Best adidas boots i ever had. Saving money to get the x ghosted now.

the solar slime colorway with magenta laces was some heat. Reckon these still hold up pretty well today, Benzema was rocking em sometime earlier this season/last season
