Really impressed with this channel now more than ever. Judge April is so well articulated with her opinions and points that I could listen to her talk MTG all day. Will Patreon support this channel! Keep it up!! <3

I would like to note that I said "50 tickets" when I meant "50 player points" and I said "Breeding Pool" when I meant "Birthing Pod". WHERE IS MY EDITOR?! PILLORY HER!!

I'd love to see a video about your own Cube, April. I've seen the list and has a lot of interesting choices. Keep the cube videos coming, please!

This gives a lot of knowledge on Magic that I must say at 100% it improves my Magic skill listening to it.

Thank you for the video! I'm very happy that my legacy cube passes your tests. I've actually cut Kitchen Finks many times because it always feels like filler. I typically try to only play "value creatures" that have ability text you can interact with.

unconsciously/unintentionally, hearing the phrase "if I say negative things about . . . the cube" sent me into some kind of laughing fit. Also, this video was really informative!

An amazing video with great points. I don't play online because of these very things.

I'm really enjoying this series. There are not a lot of ppl that focus this much on cube. I've got a question though: i've got an eternal cube ranging from 360 to 540 cards and what it to be as flexible as I can on power level and the number of players it can support (playgroup sometimes varies). I want to create a universal 360 base shell on which I can add an eternal or vintage card pool. You seem to have a pretty clear understanding about what defines a vintage or eternal cube. I've heard great points about sol ring, signets, etc but I would really like to understand better. And off course there is the discussion about 'power' which I don't have, and not willing to invest in.

I agree 100%. Wouldn't have been able to put it in words this well, but you really bring it across. Kudos.

Only one question: could the mono red test be swapped for a, say, white weenie test in a given cube? Wouldn't that also work as kind of scavenger/"eating the weak"-predator deck? Or even mono blue merfolk, as in twisted color pie?
I get that one needs an easy to draft very fast aggro deck to stabilize the format. Only why it needs to be red is a bit beyond me. Any thoughts...?

April is awesome. With her recommendations I finally cut Delver and Avalanche Riders from my suped up Legacy cube.

Judge April !
Do you have a cube tutor link for your cube ?
I'm building mine and would like to see if I can get inspired by yours :)

I think you're spot on here. Legacy cube is currently quite boring and your reasons are well-thought out as to why that is.

"cuba" pronunciation of cube, is quickly becoming a pet peeve for me

Cool video, hadn't thought about the issue with there being too many planeswalkers until now. I stopped drafting this cube recently when I realized I almost always do well with blue decks but garbage with non-blue decks. The average blue card seems a lot better than the average card of other colours, but maybe I'm just not doing the non-blue decks properly.

You should play Commander (EDH)! Great video, excellent arguments supported by detailed examples. Awesome ink!

Out of curiosity, what are Judge April's ten favorite draft formats (noncube)? And if possible, what lessons do they give for cube design?

On the Kitchen Finks Test, I'm assuming April means as a single card, and not as a potential combo with other cards like Pod or Melira? I would think that casting Kitchen FInks would be allowed to be at least a little exciting when paired with one of those cards.

Please make more cube analysis videos. Whatever you think would be fun and/or helpful to make. For example, modern cubes, cards to avoid including in a casual good stuff cube, etc.
