Here's a great pheasant tail nymph that's very easy to tie. and 2 ways to tie it. We use this fly all the time on the Kenai River in Alaska for Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden. This is a great fish-catching fly and excellent fly for guides and beginners. Bonus Footage Included!

We've added a little twist to the fly in our bonus footage. This is perfect for Rainbow Trout and pretty much any nymph-eating fish that swims!

Awesome simple stillwater pattern, I tie both a red & purple version, another variation is called a Tenny Leach tied a mustad 9671 or 9672 & a throat in the middle & head, tight lines & bent rods
