Use plastic canvas cut to fit the lid and cover all open areas. I have multiple loaches and they cant jumo. Head for Walmart or any craft store for the plastic canvas and a zip tie, use the original lid with plastic on top cut to cover open area and i ziptied to the front lip of the top.

Please show us a video of how you made a new lid or modify it!! I also have the same tank and is experiencing the problem with evaporation.. great video :))

Maybe do a whole new lid but make it and all plastic or Glass lid that will not take away from the aesthetics that's the only idea I have but I'm no expert in fish tank modifications but seems like a good idea for a way to make the lid more secure and also help slow down the evaporation speed while not ruining the look of the overall aesthetics.

Is the waterfall thing doing water filtration too or just for a show? Is gravel or sand necessary for an aquarium? Isnt that easy to clean if there's nothing in the bottom? But we have to change water often thats the only thing difficult right?

Could you please tell what you did/do to prevent the dark gravel in your tank from releasing its dark color?
For all the dark gravel brands and products that I have checked out, there are many people saying that their fish died due to the toxic dark color paint on the gravel coming off, or that the water is dark even after multiple rinses/washes, or that the gravel stones lose their color / turn white after a while / paint comes off / chips off from the stones.
How do you prevent the dark color from coming off the stones

Hey I saw you've had/have African Dwarf Frogs. I'm preparing to get some and I was just wondering if it's okay to keep two males or two females together. I dont want breeding!
