Burr: Everyone who loves me has died.
Burr's sister: am I a joke to you? I'm still frickin alive.

Hamilton and burr are more alike than they realized.
Both lost everyone and everything they loved
Both tried to make their name known, albeit in different ways
Both had similar views
Both were forgotten by history
Both took something a little too personally
Both were orphans

Things that i like
1. The first chorus
2. Theo having a bigger role in this song
3. Burr's dad saying "approved"
4. The people that Burr loved who died. Especially since their ghost-like movement
5. This being the few animatics that showed Burr's frustration perfectly
6. That one part where Theo holds Burr's hand back from shooting Ham
7. That one part where Ham gives him the Reynolds Pamphlet.
8. A whole lot of foreshadowing
9. Basically, the whole symbolism of Theo being Burr's conscience.
10. The energy in your animatics that matches Szin's

This is my favorite song as well

The Reynolds Pamphlet.
Alexander doesn't wait, he acts. unlike Burr, who is willing to wait for it.
Alex wrote the Reynolds Pamphlet in a second. without even a second thought....
Burr is willing to wait for what he wants, even if it means waiting a long time.
I could be wrong, and if i am partially right, it definitely is not the whole reason, but I think that this may be a comparison of the two.

The "if there is a reason im still alive when everyone who loves me has died" hits diffrent when you know that his:mom, dad, daughter, wife, sons, sister all died while he was alive. Which also makes the "he may have been the first one to die but im the one who paid for it, i survived but i paid for it" a million times sadder

I really like how you added other characters in this, especially Peggy. She doesn’t do much in the musical, but I love how you show that she’s just as important as everyone else

Angelica and Laurens crying I can't

Burr's dad "approved"

The ghosts love It's so smooth

He has nothing to loose *shows Hamilhammy in the moment he losts his life*

Burr not understandind how can Hamilton, the most reckless guys he has ever met, still be alive, when himself being super carefull lost everything
Then It hits him.He DID Lost everything

And when Burrito tries not to wait anymore, we get a flash of the Reynolds pamphlet...of how being non-stop can be harmfull

And we make mistakes *Maria appears*

"So many have died" I love how you put Peggy in this, because she ALSO died pretty young(not SO young but you get me)

3:09 "When bae is 90% of your impulse control"

2:44 - 3:15 had me speechless.
First of all the transitions and foreshadowing were _great_
But the thing that made me cry was the fact that Theodosia was the one who stopped the bullet. She was the one who kept Burr in line. But when she died....
*_she couldn't stop the last bullet_*
And that is why Burr didn't wait for it, whenever he killed Hamilton. Because he had lost his love and impulse control.

I haven't seen new Hamilton content in forever, and this ended up being the same song (if I remember correctly) that brought me into Hamilton and musicals. Great animatic overall. :)

The best animatic for the best song!

My fangirling aside, this really had A LOT of symbolism and references to other moments of the play:
How Aaron Burr watched Hamilton take all of his chances (his friends, first potential love interest and being Washington's pal) while he couldn't do anything but watch.
A lot of other artists have done it, but I really like to see it again here, how his family is haunting him and reminding him that he should wait for it instead of getting killed like them.
The amulet changes color because at this point Burr is getting frustred about having to wait for so long while others like Hamilton don't waste their time and they succeed.
At the climax of the song, his family is telling him to wait for his chance to be with Theodosia, but Theodosia doesn't really approve of that, nevertheless Burr is suffering because he feels like he can't be with her or his life will be crushed if he doesn't wait.
It's also interesting to see that Burr was JUST about to do something to Hamilton (reveal his affair) but the Reynolds pamphlet is published, so Burr really just needed to wait for it.
At the end with the "when so many have died" line you put the characters there perfectly, because even if we don't see some of these characters die before our very eyes (Phillip ;-;) we can tell that they're gone (Peggy died after her sister and Hamilton got engaged and Washington didn't appear again after stepping down).
Also I don't know if this was intentional or not, but at the end when Burr was singing "then I'm willing to..." he shot Hamilton before he could finish the verse, representing that in the end Hamilton threw away his shot and Burr didn't wait fot it that time.

In summary, this was absolutely PERFECT for me, I really hope to see more of you later! :)
