How to Disable the Windows Lock Screen & Go Right to the Login Prompt
Показать описание
The Windows lock screen is the image background you see when you turn on your computer before you see the logon prompt with the time on it. Then you need to click the mouse or press a key on the keyboard to get past it and then to the login box where you can type in your password. This will even work if you lock your computer and will just show the login box. If you don't want to see this lock screen and would rather just go right to the login prompt, then it's very easy to disable with a quick registry edit. This should work for both Windows 10 and Windows 11.
Here are the notes from the video for the registry editor.
Open regedit
Navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows
Create a new key called Personalization
Create a new DWORD (32-bit) Value called NoLockScreen
Double click it and set the value to 1
