The Who's Who of Swiss Leaks

The black money debate in India is back on the front pages. Codenamed Swiss Leaks, the report by The Indian Express in collaboration with French newspaper Le Monde and International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) published a transnational investigative news report and named some of the country’s top industrialists and prominent personalities. The investigation is based on leaks from the HSBC's Swiss banking unit.

#SwissLeaks was the top trend on Twitter India on Monday.

The publication of these figures is likely to prove embarrassing for a good number of some powerful and famous people.

The report names 1,195 Indians including top businesspersons, politicians and prominent people such as Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani, Naresh Goyal, Annu Tandon, Anand Chand Burman, Sharvan Gupta, Rajan Nanda, Anuragh Dalmia, Sandeep Tandon and others. The report, Swiss Leaks, also discloses their balances for the year 2006-07.
