DUDE, I can’t even fathom what I just witnessed with this movie yesterday. Truly one of the greatest films I’ve ever seen. This is a new bar for Sci-Fi storytelling.

Saw it yesterday, I have one word for Dune Part 2: Biblical

My theater showed both parts back to back. I was overwhelmed by the end and walked out feeling very small. What an experience.

Been waiting 60 years -- 60 years - for this.

I legit cried during this film because I didn't think what I saw could ever be possible in my lifetime. Dune Part Deux set the freaking bar. Shai halud set the bar.

I thought Timothee had beefed up or grown some inches between films. He didn’t. He just embodied this power and drive by the end of the movie, his presence took up more space.

The silence I witnessed in the theater during the final fight was an indicator that people were really connected to this movie.

I watched it yesterday, and if I was in the theater alone I would have screamed LISAN AL-GAIB along with the freman. Timothee was that good.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I can't wait for Villeneuve's take on "Rendezvous with Rama". I feel I need to keep repeating it so that it really happens one day.

I've read the book 5 times in my 33 years on this planet, when I saw Part 1 I was also gobsmacked (Londoner here). It was like they ripped what I saw in my head and threw it on a screen. I'm so so excited for this film, already have a couple of viewings booked.

Saw it at an advanced screening last night and YES the reviews are not exaggerating this is 100% a MONUMENT of film making, It took me hours to process what I had just seen it truly felt like I had just seen a MASTERPIECE, A feeling I have not had since seeing Return of the King with my dad aged 11 years old. I do not see ANY other film this year getting anywhere near touching this film, Best Picture 2025 incoming !!!

I loved Zendaya in this movie. Her and Timothy's chemistry was so great

I’m a Dune book purist. I loved the changes honestly. This film easily surpasses anything I’ve ever seen on film. ANYTHING!!!

For me, Dune II is the most incredible cinematic experience I've had since LotR: The Return of the King. If Dune II does not win every category it is nominated for at the next Academy Awards (and it should be nominated for about 15), then the Oscars truly are irrelevent.

It's genuinely refreshing to finally hear from people who know what they're talking about. Thanks guys!

Should we just give the 2024 Best Picture Oscar to Dune: Part Two now or later?

So freaking good

The moment of the close up on Paul's ankle as his foot finds it's steady placement then allowing him to confidently stand up . . . the Hans Zimmer Dune Theme hits for the first time in part 2, then the cut to the Fremen's shock & passionate awe of applause as they cheer on his unbelievably exciting achievement . . . . Confident & successful control in riding the biggest Sandworm they've ever witnessed. THAT IS A NEW HIGH IN CINEMATIC GLORY!

It just changed my life. When I watched certain scenes I stopped breathing it was so intense and amazing

14:33 I'm one of those book purists, so it's crazy to say this, but I think NOT ONLY did Denis only make good changes, I think those changes actually make the story as a whole better. For example, Chani being a counter-force to Paul just serves to drive home his differences after he drinks the water of life (he's totally on her side before, afterwards... he realizes he doesn't have a choice but to betray her and the fremen) she protests so much so it's really clear to everyone that this isn't a savior story, it's a story about a people being used by leaders, power, and religion. Denis really captured what Frank wanted to say.

These two guys expressed exactly how I felt after watching it. Dune 2 is pure cinema.
