The scene where the emperors ship is floating atop the battlefield just struck me as something completely out of a sci-fi fever dream it was AMAZING

I just want to hear Christoper Walken say “the spice… uh… it must flow.”

Part of me feels like this is the first time in a while that a studio has been confident in a film enough to lift the review embargo a week before it reaches theaters

the Javier humor was the nicest surprise, in a such a serious movie, what a great actor to elevate the material with a light side

When Paul yells SILENCE at the end, it was so damn loud we all about jumped out of our seats. It was an amazing movie, and definitely a great reason to go back to the movies.

I really hope Denis Villeneuve is able to direct the rest of the Dune Universe, he is the only one who can properly adapt a great book to the big screen.

Dune is where Freddy Krueger would send Anakin if he was having a nightmare.

To be fair, the Emperor Shaddam IV didn't have a lot of pages in the book. He was more of a lurking menace than a prime character. He has a few dialogs with other characters and then the direct conclusive scene at the end.

As someone who's read the book, I think this was quite the masterpiece. There's been fantastic subplots, scenes and characters cut from both part 1 and part 2. But I understand that it's probably a matter of runtime and mainstream audiences. Denis definitely captures the spirit of the book and you can truly tell he loves Dune so much. I think a lot of the things we've missed out on so far will definitely be made up for if we get Dune Messiah.

Watching Stellan Skarsgaard, Austin Butler and Dave Bautista kneel before Christopher Walken and Florence Pugh, was worth the price of admission alone.

fun fact, Austin Butler WAS doing a Skarsgard impression. Because he's playing his uncle, so he wanted to have them sound similar because you know....family dialects and accents. He got a voice coach and everything.

Nothing gets me more excited about a movie than hearing other people getting excited about the movie

They had the midnight double bill of Dune 1 and 2 in IMAX last night, it was spectacular. Part 2 definitely could've been 15-30 minutes longer and I would've happily watched, but it was my most anticipated movie of the year and it lived up to my hype. Denis is my favorite filmmaker working today and he is on top of his game with this one. I NEED a Dune Messiah movie tomorrow because I can't get enough of his version of this world

+1 for shouting out Greig Fraser on the cinematography!

As a cinematographer myself, I appreciate his work!

Fun fact Christopher Walken played a role in music video for Fatboy Slim "Weapon of Chocie" where one of the lines is "Walk without rhythm
and it won't attrack the worm" so IT WAS MENT TO BE
