With your hundreds of things that you have told us to take, it would be a really good video to pair it all down and give us your top 25 or something like that!

Alpha Lipoic Acid is has tremendous benefits for your liver as well. It in fact has been known to actually aid in liver regeneration. However, R-type has much greater bioavailability than the s-type, which is half natural, have synthetic. The reason that s-type is made is because ALA must be stabilized in order to provide any benefit, and can actually be somewhat detrimental if it is not, in supplement form. If you do go with r-type, make sure that it is stabilized, usually with sodium atoms. S-type works as well, but is less potent

"Take it on an empty stomach." Again? There are just not enough hours in a day to take everything you need on an empty stomach 🤪

Great news. Thanks! I am already taking R-ALA.
But I also follow an anti-inflammatory diet as much as possible to help with my arthritis flare-ups.

I usually have high inflammation as I have endometriosis so I take it to help out with the inflammation in general. I do take R-ALA

Thomas, you should've discussed R-Alpha Lipoic Acid vs. S-Alpha Lipoic Acid.

Same here, I have been using it on and off for 4 years for diabetic neuropathy!

If you are on HYPO-Thyroid Meds, ALA will suppress T4 to T3 conversion. That is a problem.

I've read it also helps with fatty liver

Had neuropathy in feet for years while battling diabetes. Managed to get it under control with nutrition and exercise but take ALA daily as it has significantly reduced the sharp and burning pain. In fact over time it is nearly gone. But as a fitness product, probably shortchanges the possible gains.

I had heard that only if you have chronic health issues should a person take it. It really seems to help neuropathy and diabetes issues for certain.

Alpha lipoic acid is the second enzyme cofactor needed in the dehydrogenase enzyme complexes such as pyruvate dehydrogenase, a key part of metabolism. Right after the first which is thiamine.

I do reduced form: R-ALA, with benfotiamine, and L-Citroline. Tom does superb presentations!

I started taking because it helps with nerve pain and nerve damage. Then I saw it can lower blood pressure as well and I have that. So it is great. If it has even more benefits I'm very into it
