Is School A WASTE Of Time?

I hated my last 2 years of school. Now that I'm in my College I hate it more

It hated school especially high school, constantly wasting time and not even learning. 99% of the things I got taught I’ve forgotten, since leaving school I own 3 business under the age of 22. If I have kids I’ll never let them go to school. It’s the system, you got to school at 9am-3pm just so when you leave school your able to do a 9-5. They tell you your grades aren’t good enough for the system. I failed everything now I earn more money then people that got all A’s and even people that have passed university yet I’m not the one in debt

It would be nice if they taught real world stuff in the last 1 or 2 years. Taxes, mortgages, finance. What jobs can potentially earn

I hated school. In highschool the only thing I looked forward to back then was Home Economics. I'm an amazing cook today and I love to clean and decorate. 😎🙆🏾‍♀️

I'm not sure it matters much. School teaches you the art of how to learn something. You don't need to retain all the information

As an entrepreneur, all types of education, learning provide a base to build on. Just because you didn't but use it literally, it usually provides a base for other key skills.

The UK education system definitely needs an update.

this is because during the industrial revolution they would train kids to work pointlessly for hours on hours (school) so they were used to working like that once they got a job and the system still hasn’t changed, it’s a shit system

The issue with school is it dosent teach you how to grow up and instills what your government wants you to learn and how to act

The most valuable things I have learnt from schooling was having patience to learn and the discipline to meet deadlines which required me to dial in my time management. All important things to be efficient at.

on the one hand i agree, but school is just training and relative ranking on how well you can learn, interpret and apply learned concepts and behaviours, which is a high value ability in any field

Learning to read and write was kind of handy

This is another reason why unschooling is more beneficial if you actually make sure you're learning and not goofing off.

You'll learn what you truly have a genuine interest in and have all the time you need to matter those things that you are persuaded and expect to use in your life
rather than a variety of subjects that you're not interested in,
that you won't remember nor will you ever use what you learned from those subjects in your life,
and even all the in between things that happen that results in wasting time by going to a school.

It's even more mentally and emotionally beneficial the fact the child wouldn't be growing up around negative influences and the parent(s) can actually be around their children more often, possibly even learning with their children.

Bro since I started reading and learning things that I really want on vacation, le last year of school was painful asf, I was so angry and mad in school because I couldn’t drop out school off my parents and when I came home I was so so tired to study the things I care and also go to gym and also do the homework, is just stupid
