Great sheet, is there a way to record incremental payments before the end of a vacation ? We are renting a house one year in advance and the share holders may be paying their rent share before the vacation starts.

Hi KeyCuts -- fantastic sheet, and I'm using it now to divvy up costs between 22 people for a big reunion. Thank you so much!

I'm wondering if you've got any advice for this use case -- we already have a designated "bank" person who has collected an initial amount of money from everyone, and will continue to serve as the "bank". Is there some easy way to track how much each individual has already contributed toward the bank, and if they overpaid? I tried putting -$1600 in the column B, then a "1" in everyone's column who contributed $100, and I thiiiink it worked. But, any better ideas?

hi...my gang is going to a trip and we all paid one of our friend so that he can book the tickets and pay advance for accomodation ....here what should i do so that, everyone's expenses are reflected in the total cost paid ?
Right now the total cost paid is reflected only on that person....is it possible to add everyone's name in the 'whom paid' column???

Can I delete columns if there are only, say, 3 or 5 people in the group?

HI, great tool! thanks for sharing. I am having trouble adding columns. I did what you said below and added them before J, but the rows 'total cost paid', and 'total cost owed', and 'difference' keep remaining blank, even as I add 1 to the new people's columns. How can I get the formula to work for the co-payers I am adding?
