About Cruel Summer:

Major Kudos to Olivia and Blake for their fantastic work in this episode. I love that they showed how toxic Kate and Martin's relationship really was, without anything being romanticised, and making it clear that Martin was subtly preying on Kate all along.

I haven't watch a full series in years probably 15 years. This was my first one and I am happy I did. I watched it because I was working as an extra, so it was a blessing to do what I love and get paid and wanted to show my fam what series I came out. Anyhow, because of this series I was able to see what an abuser does. I was able to get out of an abusive marriage, even the church told me to stay unfortunately. Thank you Blake and Olivia yall really did awesome on this episode and of course saved my life. <3
