The Gap Theory is NOT in the Bible

Our pastor preaches from the King James Bible, and he is a true Bible believer; he believes that the Word of God is the final authority. The services are exciting, old fashioned style services where the brethren are exhorted and encouraged, and sound doctrine is preached unashamedly.

When I heard it (from an assembly of god pulpit) they said there is a gap of about a thousand years betwixt verse one and verse two of Genesis chapter 1.


And they say God created the world perfectly and then Satan was cast down from heaven and destroyed the Earth, hence, the "destructed shape of Earth" *And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep[...]* KJV Genesis 1:2
