Wonderful video brother! Very easy to follow. I believed the Genesis Gap for a long time, but this was by far the easiest breakdown of it ever seen. God bless!

I’m a believer of the Genesis Fact without a doubt. Praise the LORD for His perfect word that never leaves us clueless having it purified 7 times.

I just saw the video and read the article linked. Amazing work brother. I do have a question and a statement. I am going to attempt to write it here and I will also send it as a comment on your page - linked to that article you posted. Im not sure if this is new to you, but my mind is being filled and God willing you can help me sort this out. I will attempt to put it as a second comment here

Dear brother, this is the most succinct teaching on the Gap in existence. PTL! I believe you covered the most "hard-hitting" passages in this, this is awesome. Gen 9:1 really rounds out the "replenish" definition and argument, as the Lord uses the same wording with Noah as He did with Adam - he tells him to be fruitful, multiply, and "replenish" the earth. Also, I think the context of Jeremiah 4 refers to the Tribulation (vs 29-31), not Noah's flood. I think you nailed the quickest and most convincing arguments "scripture with scripture" for "replenish" and "without form and void", followed by the universal flood in 2 Peter. As you said, it can't be Noah's flood in 2 Peter as both the heavens and the earth were flooded (3:5, 3:7) - "the heavens were of old" vs "the heavens and the earth which are NOW"... Noah's flood had nothing to do with "the heavens." Amen! 🙏

I always see people link time to the gap theory - but if we go strictly on scripture - it states that time was created in verses 3-5. So in a sense - It was his 1st creation after the fall of Satan.

I don't see why time would be involved in the Gap theory, being that Lucifer and the Angels and God himself are eternal. They are outside of time even to this day.

So with that said -

could the purpose of the creation of time be linked to the gap theory in the sense where - Time was created after the fall in order to separate man from eternity - so that there could be a recompense of sin - to bring forth an eternal solution which is Christ?

He forbade Adam and Eve to eat from the tree of life after they fell because the fallen state would have been eternal. So he kicked them out of the Garden. I would say Time is a display of God's sovereignty over all. When he condemned Satan - it says he was casted down to earth..So he made Satan - although eternal in spirit - subjected to time itself on earth.

I think this because when you read in Matthew 8:29 - they refer to Jesus coming and tormenting them before the time. So they had a knowledge of a time of judgement. So their understanding of time could be seen as God's sovereignty over them - knowing that, although they are eternal - they are now subject to time itself. In 1 Corinthians 2:8 it says that if they would have known- they would not have crucified the Lord of glory - because it is the eternal and irreversible solution to mans sin and Satan's attempt to overthrow God with evil.

I think it would also bring in an understanding of why there was the Fruit of Good AND evil - being that God sealed the knowledge of rebellion into a fruit and why the serpent wanted Eve to eat from it - to release evil again upon the earth. I also noticed that when Eve saw the fruit - she saw it in reverse to how God first saw it. In Genesis 2:9 - when God created every tree - it says

God: Pleasant to the sight, and good for food

But when you read Eve's account it says

Eve: Good for food and pleasant to the eyes

She submitted her Spirit to the desire of the flesh and not the flesh to the desire of the Spirit.

Hopefully Youtube allows this comment lol but please by all means - I would love to hear your input on this. God Bless brother 🙏🙏 I will be sending it as a comment as well on your website.

Sadly, if I told my pastor I believed this, I’m not sure I could remain a member. I can’t say for certain, but given his admiration for Ken Ham, it’s probably not a stretch. I am not, however, a theistic evolutionist. I do believe in a literal seven day creation as described in Genesis.

So many Christians talk about the gap theory as if it’s a heresy. Or they think it’s a theory contrived to compromise with science (that the earth is an old earth). This is one of the reasons scientists laugh at Christians and call us ignorant. The heaven and earth that we know now is 6, 000 years old since Adam. But the earth itself is much older.

The gap “truth” also explains Satan’s dominion before he fell, as you showed. That always confused me before I understood that that the world was very old. It never made sense that his throne was up in heaven when he said in his heart “I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.” Because that sure sounded like he lived in a realm below heaven itself. A realm called earth.

Also, how do you explain dinosaurs? Are we to believe they existed before the flood? I see nowhere that people walked among giant lizards.

The first time I saw the “gap theory” was on my own, when I was reading that passage in 2 Peter. It just sprang off the page to me. Suddenly, everything made sense. Supposed gaps and silly answers to hard questions were now easily understood.

The five worlds: 1). The world that then was (2Peter3:6), 2). The old world (2Peter2:5), 3). The present evil world (Galatians1:4), 4). The world to come (Hebrews2:5), 5). The world without end (Ephesians3:21). Brother Paul Lucas teaches on this on Hillview Baptist Church channel. It is the gap fact, yes.

is this theory also supposed to account for the age of the earth? if so it leads to more issues. was there death during this gap before the fall in the garden?
