Another good one is that at the end of Persona 5 Royal, we see that Sojiro picks up Joker in a yellow Fiat. This raises a lot of questions about Sojiro, haha!

In persona 5, during the casino dungeon, you have to beat a series of solo fights of enemies that come one after the other. When rearing the explanation futaba says "just like the a new challenge approaches from super bash bros" and i think it's really funny how this ended up.

I know Phantom Thieves and Persona are basically synonymous now, but It'll always bring kiseki/Trails to mind for me. Phantom thief B!

Also a really funny Eater Egg is played in Persona 5: the first time Morgana transforms itself into the MonaBus he comments the fact saying it looks like in japan is normal concept that cats can turn into buses; obviously refering to Hayao Miyazaki's movie my neighbor totoro. I laughed so hard the first time i heard it

The DQ11 ending is not a remake tease. It's telling you that 11 is the first game in the series timeline, coming before 3.

1:31 I remember The Bouncer. I was just thinking yesterday about some of the offbeat Square titles that most aren't aware of, and this was one of them.

I love it when developers sneak peaks at their next projects in games. So often, nobody realizes until the game they were teasing comes out.

Something thats also neat about the gekkokan high trip in persona 4 is that during the scene at the club chie asks if naoto is like "those detectives like in the movies kuzuno- or something" in the english dub which is a reference to the kuzonoha clan from devil summoner, soul hackers and raidou kuzunoha
Whats funny is that the Devil Summoner games exist on the same timeline as the persona series with characters appearing in persona 2. While this line of chie's is obviously not canon as its a dub only it makes me chuckle thinking that the kuzunoha clan have this "hidden in plain sight" approch with fictional movies being made of them

Wow! Being a huge Yakuza/Judgment and Persona fan, I never realized that was a reference... But now it looks clear as day to me, hahaha

In SMT 5, there is a student you can talk to in the school and they say that they will have an exhibition match against another school, and that other school has a Olympics Medalist as a coach.

Subtle Persona 5 reference

An easter egg that I love that is connected to the last one: at the end of the secret ending for Kingdom Hearts III, when the shot pans up to show Yozora sitting on top of a building in Quadratum, the piano notes that play sound really similar to the first few notes of Somnus from FFXV (I think it also played in one of the Versus XIII trailers). I don’t know if it was intentional or even if I’m just tripping. If it is an easter egg, it’s pretty cool.

In Persona 5, when ranking up Takemi (Death) confident she talks to Uehara (Devil) from persona 4 over the phone. I believe it’s during Takemi’s 4th or 5th rank.

This one Easter egg from final fantasy xv episode duscae that made me absolutely smile was in the child Noctis dream sequence you could see a playing card with a L’cie symbol on it. While that may just be a reference to Final Fantasy XIII, I could also be a reference to Final Fantasy Type 0 which was originally supposed to be this game set in the distant past before Final Fantasy Verus 13, the academia in 13 is likely a version of the Academia that serves as the main setting in Type 0. Playing cards was the weapon of choice of one of the main characters Ace, who would be the game’s rep in Dissida NT. Additional the dog tags quest line in 15 is a reference to Type 0 as one of the key plot points and side mission was the fact that you can collect the “knowing tags” of fallen soldiers as the crystal would erase the memories of the people that died so this was their method of knowing who died.

For the Kingdom Hearts Easter egg, I WISH the three characters in the video turned out to be Sora, Rikku, and Kairi. That series ended up becoming needlessly convoluted. It’s one thing to have a complicated storyline - I think we can all appreciate that. But there’s a distinct difference between complicated (a good thing) and convoluted (a very bad thing) storyline and unfortunately, we got the latter with Kingdom Hearts in the end. :-/

Great video!!!

Another little secret in persona 4 is actually during the cast's visit to Tatsumi port island.. its when naoto talks about his family. Chie mentions the protagonist of Devil Summoner one and two (the ps2 ones) raidou kuzonoha

In Persona 3 Portable I think you can visit Persona 4's School and meet a younger version of Yukiko, but that's only in the Female Route.

In Metal Gear Solid, if you have some other games on your card it will change Psycho Mantis' dialogue. I don't know what games this applies to, but for me he looked right at the screen and said "So, you like Azure Dreams do you?" locked my socks off because I had been playing Azure Dreams for about a week before this point and I had no idea how he knew.

I did figure out because it was in the save file (and this is a hint that he can read your device and that you should swap controllers, but I beat him without doing this.)

In Persona 5, when Morgana first transforms in a bus, he says something like "cat bus are popular in TV shows", a reference to the cat bus from Studio Ghibli's My Neighbor Totoro.
