One more thing: Set aside at least 100 hours of your life to finish the game

If you try to build up your social links before beating the palace, your team reacts as if you just kicked a baby or something.

Three more important tips:
1. Ending battle by negotiating gives full xp for the demon you negotiated with. This can be used to get lots of xp from difficult solo enemies without much risk.

2. Enemies that use Sleep can restore party SP, and may be useful for extending your time in a palace.

3. After sending a calling card, you can spend the evening making thief tools instead of going straight to bed.

These are actually some fairly useful and non-obvious tips that would most definitely help a newcomer! Credit where credit is due, thanks for actually putting in proper time and research into this list.

You know a video game is long and great when you need a lot of top ten videos to talk about it. Great Video!

Also if you're short on cash or items go to Mementos with small time requests and someone w/ the ability to confuse an enemy & SP recovery items. Confuse the baddy to drop stuff. Then have the rest guard. Rinse and repeat for cash/items.

Oh and Ryuji is best homie.

Completed the game yesterday and took me around 108 hours but every minute was worth it! The game reminded me of the older FF titles which sadly Final Fantasy has now deviated from. Onto new game+

This game is the best !!!! I have defended FF15 when it came out, but it pales in comparison to Persona 5. It has a very addicting gameplay and an amazing that I haven't seen in a while on a JRPG.

some tips for sp recovery

1. try and max out takemis confidant as soon as you can, eventually she’ll let you buy an accessory called an “SP Adhesive” if you level up her confidant more she will let you buy one that gives you 7 sp every time you have a turn with party member that has it equipped.

2. look up which personas have spirit drain. it will give you a good bit of sp and only costs 2 sp to cast it. also fuse this persona with everyone you can, since you can let the new persona inherit it.

3. get every single sp item you can find. there is a vending machine by the bathhouse by leblanc that lets you buy 4 sp sodas for 400 ten total. at school in the courtyard, you can buy 2 sp sodas. in shinjuku, there are 2 more vending machines that’ll let you buy 2 sp sodas each.
in saes palace, you can buy Soma from the man at the counter on the members floor. save this item for the final boss, it will revive full sp and hp to all allies. you can also get soma again later when you go through the final palace floor before the final boss.
when the school festival happens, hang out with literally anyone except ryuji. ryuji will give you an item that will restore 10 sp to 1 ally. as far as i know of, every other girl will give you an item that will restore full sp.

4. RANK UP SOJIROS CONFIDANT!! i cannot stress this enough. i’m going to list the items he will let you make in order.
• Leblanc coffee - slight sp restoration to one ally (20 sp) Gives you 1 every time you make it. Can make every day.
• Master coffee - great sp restoration to one ally (50 sp) Gives you 1 every time you make it. Can make every day.
• Leblanc curry - slight sp restoration to all allies (20 sp). Gives you 2 every time you make it. Cannot make everyday.
• Master Curry - great sp restoration to all allies (50 sp). Gives you 2 every time you make it. Cannot make everyday.

If you rank up Kawakamis confidant enough, she can make leblanc/master coffee while you can rank up another confidant.

5. RANK UP HARUS CONFIDANT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. she can grow crops for you that can restore so much sp!! you have to wait a few days for the crops to be ready though.

6. save sp items!! don’t use them immediately. it may be tempting, but you’ll regret it. especially in kamoshidas palace, you’ll get so many valuable sp items there. use sodas and coffee for the time being, use the sp items you get from kamoshidas palace when you desperately need them, other palaces very rarely give you as many good items that kamoshidas does.

sorry if it’s long.

As soon as I saw the SP adhesive 3, I knew I needed 4 of them for my active party. This pretty much gauranteed that I mapped out every palace in 1 day unless I was forced to leave. Used those to beat hard mode.

This was IMMENSELY helpful. I just started playing the game yesterday. I'm already at Madarabe's palace, but I'm not satisfied at all. I really haven't been making the most of my time. Watching this video makes me even more excited to get back to the game. Also, WHERE'S THE LOVE FOR TAE TAKEMI?!
