My niece was 3 years old. She was with her dad getting ready to get inside the car, when a pit pull attacked her face. He kicked that dog several times until the dog couldn’t get up. She was rushed to the ER where the dog tore her lip and part of her little nose. Thank God that the plastic surgeon took care of her right away. I own two dogs myself. I’m the first person to save a dog/pup. But when an aggressive dog is attacking your child, that is self defense. The dog was put down by animal control. I will never forget my baby niece’s face.
