Local lawyer interrupts traffic stop to defend stranger in Homewood

I’m so glad Ms Lovelace took the time to help out this man. How can we expect people who were once jailed/imprisoned to stay out of trouble if we keep harassing them over completely asinine situations. I’m glad she stood up for him.

It was definitely great that she responded to the call so quickly and much respect and admiration to her. I also want to point out that if this young man's soft spoken, well thought out answers and retelling of what happened are how he interacted with the officers, he definitely deserves recognition for staying calm and possibly saving himself from harm. Nothing like a good young man who's learned from his past and is trying to make a better future for him and his family. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
