I always called him creepy when I would catch him staring/watching me. He would say cause “your so sexy or so beautiful” but it NEVER felt comfortable to me.

I always like how you present the information because it's like a conversation where you can relate to our circumstances.
About the envy and jealousy I was making observations about an interaction the narc had with someone else etc and he jumped in straight away saying "Do you fancy him".
I didn't know what brought this on and if it was jealousy/envy that made him assume that I fancied the "individual" and ask that in such a strange way.
I found it peculiar the way he jumped in like that.
I need to get your book and I will on payday.

My narcissist Husband revealed himself when a dear friend committed suicide (pushed to it by her narcissistic husband) and my husband said “I wonder if he’s relieved”. During the discard, I caught him staring at me with nothing - no anger, no love (he could never utter those words, ever), no memories- just staring. When I called him out on it, he first gaslit me a d denied he was staring, then he said it was because I wasn’t paying attention. To our daughter (she and I were planning a trip, each on our computers) and he was there “helping”. I noticed this and other common behaviors before I researched narcissism because I thought it was an overused term. Wish a therapist has suggested an article, a book, a video when I gave her literally every sign I was dealing with narcissistic abuse. Wasted so many years of my life.

I experienced the same thing with my narcissistic ex. She would stare at me constantly and when I asked her why, she just said it was because she loved looking at me and I was so pretty. It still made me feel weird after a while. I noticed the black, dilated eyes after one of my friends pointed it out in pictures. There were several times my ex would abuse me & then want us to take a picture together immediately afterward. Her eyes would still be black vs "normal" pictures where her eyes were fine. I also realized that when we were arguing or she was mad, that was the only time when she would never look at me so I couldn't see the difference in her eyes but I caught it one time in person.

My ex used to watch me sleeping. Sometimes I'd wake up & find him staring. Frightened me....never experienced that before with anyone else. Not sure what to make of this behaviour....

My sister n law does this. It has only happened when I'm sitting talking to someone and she walks up and looks down at me, not engaged in the conversation, just staring. I've even looked at her and made a face like "what?" Next time I'm actually going to say something

long story short . I’m an educated malignant narcissist survivor. I’m a sigma, I once walk up to my ex face & look into her eyes & said, “Who is in there?”. She gave out a shrieking scream & demolished the kitchen. She’s only 5 foot tall. Anyway, she has destroyed everything in my life, I lost my children in that relationship. I’ve left the country & live a peaceful life now. Sometimes, I wonder how many people made it?

very informative. from personal life experience..all my mother, brother and sister. i would receive, smirks stares, blank or intense or completely innocent
when i looked back into their eyes in return, changing in an instant.. they could have black eyes, with or without smirks of contempt.i always felt i was prey
and learned to get away as quickly as possible. my mother and sister loved to slowly look me up and down with the smirk of contempt or a comment meant
to shake my confidence. when i learned not to have emotional responses and to control my facial expressions there would always be a quick change of
expression and such disappointment in their faces that the response they hoped for had not happened. you are right, there can be contempt and hatred, they
can feel threatened or cornered with danger coming in rage or revenge seeking. my mother has developed dementia in her 90s and has no memory of
anyone or anything. this has become the ultimate in not taking any responsibility, ironic. my sister is just like her and i have healed so much over many years
that she has become very frustrated and since her tactics no longer work she does not want to speak with me. perfect..we live 3000 miles apart, works for me.
there is too much more than just my so called family. the behaviors mentioned here and in the video are things to be observant of and to take measures to
protect yourself and your children from people who may also be your husband or wife, any family members and the people who believe the truth of the
perpetrator of mind games, bullying and outright evil behaviors and attitudes. just because we were victims once does not mean we must remain one. we
all did what we had to do to survive and now we can decide who we are and who we now are is someone who was strong and did not know it because of all
the abuse within our family..and i use the term family loosely.. i have no contact with any of these people because betrayal is the norm. believe in your
instincts, protect yourself and be as resilient, courageous and loving as you truly are. you did not imagine it all or not remember accurately. you will hear that.
with much love to you all. nancy..
