I’m a big believer in compound exercises & practical strength, and I’ve always done 5 of 7 of the exercises in this video consistently for 40+yrs.

This video is the perfect example on why people should do these movements instead of relying on machines, this guy wasn’t using any belt or lifting straps at all, just raw, this is exactly how I train and I love it, training your stabilizers and very functional, all of these exercises are necessary for a strong functional body

Yeah bro... Been familiar with this 7 exercise philosophy for some years but somehow always did a ton of other exercises on the side. U just motivated me to try a weight 2 split pull and push routine combined with bw/weighted calisthenics! This could be the sweet spot between pure strength and body controll

Great setup. Personally I do all of these, but with weighted pushups instead of bench, and leg raises instead of dips. :)

In my opinion, I would recommend push ups, sit ups (or crunches), pull ups, and bodyweight squats. Those are the workouts that you can do them wherever without any equipments.

I do, squats, deadlift, pendlay rows, bench, oh press, dips, power cleans, and chins. All raw to maintain strength at 61yrs

Golden. I do RDL's instead of regular dead lifts. I add in Bicep Curls and DB Shurgs because I like working my traps. Also some Side Lateral Raises and Calf Raises.

I split mine into wednesday and thursday and the only exercise i added is farmers walk.

Pressing and squats is wednesday

Back and pulling is sunday

So a 2 day week split

You can add sprinting or long walks to both keep your heart healthy and burn fat. Which in turn makes you look more defined. I always see bodybuilders on the stair master and thats for a reason.

Nothing like compounds, build bustle everywhere instead of isolations(for natural lifters)

I would also add some abs in there if your feeling strong but this is the best I've seen yet, I've been sayin this for years

Replace dips with push ups and you’re golden

Squats (pistol squats if without weights), dips, pull ups and chin ups. Abs are trained with these exercises apart from squat if you do them with proper form

I would add hanging legs raises and cables crunches for abs
