I love this mode! It reminds me of that co-op mode they had years ago where you survive the waves but just open world. Chill take your time and level up. You not only get XP that transfers over but you get calling cards as well. I love it

Man I went through the hassle of collecting stronghold keycards, gas masks, and anti radiation pills just to realize they don’t appear in your inventory when you extract. And it sucks that you can’t bring home extra backpacks and plate carriers.

You can also exfil through some challenges like rescuing the hostage or extracting radioactive material

the game works more like hunt showdown than tarkov which i like, i just hope they add a more meaningful economy to weapons and equipment so looting feels more worthwhile and deaths feel more important, as well as 2 major objectives the way hunt has it so everyone has 1 or 2 specific places they want to fight at and contest. Right not they have the gas zone and the weapon cache, but the rewards are kinda bad for them both

The only problem is the community that don't actually do anything in DMZ but camp exfil sites and kill you. The mode has missions around the map to either take out an HVT or rescue a hostage among others so I don't see the point of having to pick missions before entering the DMZ mode it should be that those missions you select before you enter correspond with one of missions you can find inside the mode and the game will spawn you nearby the selected one

Even though there’s much to this mode that needs to update, nerf or change. I enjoy it. It’s not like Tarkov of course and I wished there are more plate carriers and backpacks laying around cause I played like 2 games and couldn’t find one.

Update: I guess if you exfil with a medium backpack, gas mask, plate carriers in the game (Seems like you find more if you’re playing with others) it stays with you until your next game play, although it doesn’t let you swap them after getting back to the menu. I hope they make major updates and changes in the future. The mode can be boring since all you see is AI bots everywhere but its a good change of pace to level up yourself and your weapons.

Me and my friend played this mode in the beginning just to get the M13 unlocked and we ended up staying because we loved it so much it definitely has its flaws and needs some love but I'm loving it.

I only ever take in one weapon so I have 2 open weapon slots to bring out new ones

What took me by surprise was that on my first run, I ended up leaving with like 3 back packs, gas masks, etc. and in the menu, there's no option to actually swap it out 😂 so it's pretty pointless in that sense. I hope theres an update that makes equipment mean something. otherwise it's just an XP farm and casual mode to run around in
