I’m so glad you made this video. I’ve been spotting people and they’ve never looked around and freaked out on me but I seen some videos of other people avoiding marking and it made me wonder.

OK so I know where people are getting this from when it says that they were being spotted it’s either a tactical camera or a recon drone, because both of those do give notifications

Although I haven't been able to test this, using the spotter scope for months now and I suspected they were not aware. For the first month or so the spotter scope was properly broken, because it would ping the player and if you did not paying anything else track that player for the rest of the game. Even into the gulag and dropping back

I can't play without my spotter scope. It makes the game much easier. I sometimes stay up in an elevated area and spot out enemies for my team. Its like having a UAV. Marks them so they can't hide. People have accused us of cheating because of it.

Whats hilarious though, is when you spot bots, and they arent facing directly away from you, theyll notice you as soon as theyre spotted

ive been rolling with the spotter since day one in dmz. i also used the shit out of it in verdansk. i loved rolling with the socom m4 with the thermal hybrid scope. it had hit scan and no glint! coupled with the spotter scope, i could see everybody on the map

All I’ve seen is the recon drone notify you “spotted” and you’ll get a light flash on the screen when the drone ID’s you but never heard of that for the tactical spotter scope
