Fun fact about berserkers, they’re rituals were originally supposed to be a cure for fear, which obviously worked but the thing is it’s believed that the only way to become a berserker is through the rituals but if a berserker had a child after going berserk the berserker gang would be inherited by that child

I only know this because of journal records of my ancestors who were berserkers.

2. The mushrooms thing is a myth, a likely theory is that they were probably great warriors who probably performed ritualistic dances and ceremonies before battle but sadly suffered from PTSD and only felt themselves during battle.
