For me the relationship between Ragnar, Athelstan and king Egbert was truely magical

The fact that Floki was in the finale made it a success to me. Hearing him laugh/giggle was the best

Ragnor was a king, warrior, thinker and dreamer.
Bjorn inherited his kingship/leadership, Hvitsek his warrior side, Ivar his thinking, Ubbe his dreams

The death of bjorn was the death of the old Viking world

Ubbe didn't abandon the old way in the case of the blood eagle, as he just saw that the guy was not brave and would not earn Valhalla during the procedure, unlike jarl Borg.

Floki became very much like a Buddhist in the end. Was refreshing to see the wisdom of someone who knows they know nothing.

Remember it was Ubbe who found Floki when he is running away and hiding under the river, and at the end it was Ubbe who found Floki again.

What you missed is that Ragnar sons all overachieved Ragnars own accomplishments but each in a different way :
-Ivar dies as the most famous and ruthless viking ever know
-Ubbe succeeded in finding the golden land
-Bjorn becomes immortal and had the glorious viking death
-Hvitserk fulfilled the Christian path many times contemplated by Ragnar

Ivars death hurt me so much, i dont know why "Hvitsek, i am afraid". GOD DAMN i freaking love this series.

I liked the ending except two things.
1: I would have liked to see Rollo again if he is still alive...
2: I would have liked Ubbe and Floki to talk about the death of Bjorn and Ivar (just a few words maybe)

Even after so many years ragnar is mentioned so many times even more than Bjorn. Everytime I saw ragnar or his face it brought so much happiness. Man I'm going to miss this show
