I just can’t believe how they portrayed Edmund Ironside in this series. Dude was a warrior. Just as much as Harald Hardrada & Cnut the Great. Edmunds Army defeated Cnuts on several occasions. And earned the respect of Cnut.

I would have liked to have seen Harald try that with the real Edmund.
Edmund Ironside, the warrior prince and leader of the Saxon resistance. The man who kicked the crap out of Cnuts army from the midlands all the way back to Kent. Truth be told i wouldn't have really known who would have won in a duel between them.
I just hate how this show misportrays the saxons, all for the sake of making the vikings look more badass.

Funny, because Sigurdsson was born the year before Edmund gained the throne and lost his life. 😅
