Thank you- i lost some P. Hoffmannseggi to stuck molts and I felt like trash. I will add more cuttlebone and moisture. Thank you again! ❤

Great video! I think all beginners to the hobby should definitely see this!

May I leave a recommendation?

I believe it would have been beneficial to touch on the yellow of the Rhinophoridae Larvae compared to the slight yellow you can see in a pregnant isopod (known buy it's fun nickname in the community, "macaroni").

This is obvious to those of us that have been in the hobby for a while, but as this is (arguably) a video geared towards beginners of the hobby, we would not want a new keeper to mistakenly euthanize a pregnant isopod thinking they are infected with larvae. How sad!

Don't mind me while I just pour through the rest of your content, enjoyed this!

Very small video but it explained what I wanted to know. Had molting pronlems in acrilic enclousure. Blue iridovirus is kind of rare curiosity. There are more common acanthocephala parasitic worms which however can breed only if changing it's host to a bird. This is mostly in nature, it can't breed in isopod only enclousure.

Thank you for this video :) I just ordered my first few isopods (Armadillidium klugii) and now I know what to look out for in the future

Keep in mind that some species, especially Armadillidium, can have molting problems due to too MUCH moisture, or lack of a moisture gradient

Can iridovirus be less noticeable then the ones shown in this. Some if my A.vulgare have a hue to them but i have never seen anything bright blue or purple.

Do you know if pale frass is a sign of any illness? Caught some wild A. vulgare the other day and have noticed some odd pale frass in their quarantine cup, more peanut butter to the typical dark chocolate. None of them are acting/appearing strange as far as I can tell. Tried looking it up, but couldn't find anything.
