Hey there! I wanted to give you a couple of pointers raising snails!

1. Always wash your hand before interacting with a snail. Are hands produce salt and salt is really bad for the snails.

2. I recommend feeding them cucumbers and lettuce. If they need to build up calcium give then spinach or powdered egg shell. The skull was cool and all but not the best for the snail. If the shell doesn't seem to be getting thicker, you can by snail food which will help.

3. When you pick up a snail try not to pull on their shell. Either let them slide on to you or slide them until they unsuction. If you can't get them to unsuction, it's best to leave them alone.

4. Snails really like dark and moist places. They do not like being in the blazing sun whether they are in a habitat or not.

5. If you see any mold or snail poop in the tank, just pick it up with your fingers and throw it away.

Something most don't know, snails aren't bugs/insects at all. They're mollusks, specifically gastropods. If that's confusing to you, they're more related to clams, squids, octopi, even the Nautilus, than any bug at all.
