Needed to set up my steering wheel buttons on my E82 135i. Same process, but had to use the E90 setting to activate it correctly. Thank you for the post!!!

Thanks for the assist... After installing mine and going to that menu it was set to NO Have to pull the head unit to see what brand I have but tried a couple and found one to work.... Thanks again!!

You're a legend! I had to do this on my Hyundai with a new head unit (Junda Navi), the factory code for me was (six zeros). Same process as your video.

I can’t get my steering wheel controls to work in my 2012 grand Cherokee at all…was told that it’s the same setting for a 2012 dodge Durango but I don’t see that vehicle listed either in the hikitty canbus

I bought this same radio but I can’t find where it’s even connected in the back. I had a few items that didn’t match on the harnesses that were sent with the radio. Do you have a video showing where you hooked up the steering controls?

I've got the same unit. The steering wheel controls work with the CANbus, but can't bind them. I would highly recommend getting a car launcher. I HATE that default launcher.

Does anyone have any advice I did it through factory setting and it was setup but now when I press on volume up it lags then my unit goes black while the side lights with power and home stay on and my unit will make static noises until i come to a complete stop then to reconnect
