Ik it's not in this video, but the ELF stay all night setting spray seriously locks in makeup. We(the makeup team) used it for the school musical makeup this past year and it worked so well. People said it didn't sting(we tried a differentbrand that did and everyone hated it), and it stood up really well even on top of thick makeup and stage lights. It's $10 so it's definitely worth a try if you need something to hold super strong and affordable(I haven't used it personally on myself for longer than like an hour but if it stands up on stage I have a feeling it's really good)

Mac Fix+ won't do anything unfortunately, it's just like a face mist since it doesn't contain the ingredient you should look for next to Alcohol (denatured) in setting sprays: PVP (Polyvinylpyrrolidone). A polymer that helps to keep Makeup in place.
One fixing spray that has this ingredient is the one from "essence", 2€ in Europe.
Acrylates/Octylacrylamide Copolymer do the job as well.

Great explanation though, I didn't know that the ones without alcohol should be used in between of steps ❤

I LOVE that one size spray omg it melts my make up together so well! And umps and hydrates but keeps me matte!
