It should be noted that Anakin wanted to be a master because there was certain information in the archives that were forbidden to nonmasters. Anakin believed those archives might contain a way to save Padme, which is why he was so angry when he was made a member of the counsel (whom he hated) instead of becoming a master.

Well, BEFORE Revenge of the Sith, Anakin WAS already a Master. I guess no one (probably Obi-Wan) doesn’t remember that Ahsoka exists.

It is true they were destined to fall because of their ways are so rigid and so not looking for new vision and allowing new masters who are younger to have a opinion that may be outside the box to help them in long term.. its called lack of foresight.
