This is the most debated video I have ever made. So, you asked for a longer video, and I hope I answered all your questions there.

"gin and tonic, make it strong."
So you want a double sir?
"No just make it strong"
A double it is.

Only thing that gets me pissed is when they put too much ice, and can’t fit the whole of the drink they made in the shaker into the glass. I’ve had people throw out a third of what I ordered

People have to understand that alcohol is expensive. Period. If you ask for a drink without ice, they'll most likely put the same amount of liquid as one with ice.

The worst crime is ice in beer!
For cocktails it has to be the right amount. Not too little and not too much I don't want my drink getting watered down and also not getting scammed with less drink but more ice.

People don't seem to realize you don't pay for the glass, you pay for the alcohol, and whether you have ice or not, you're getting the same amount of alcohol.

Regardless of how much ice is served. Almost every bartender I know is taught to fill with ice and then liquor. So you'll always get your standard 1.25 or 1.5 oz shot. The only thing you miss out on is the amount of mixer used. Most "strong" drinks just have less mixer and more ice. And from my experience, those "strong" drinks lead to repeat customers and better tips.

I love how they mention proportions for the first part of the short and completely throw that logic away for the rest of the short

"Just... add more gin" a drunk guy, probably

Edit: My god you drunks, you're mostly paying for the gin so more gin = more money it was a joke 🤣

By adding more Tonic in the first part it's no longer 1 part gin : 2 part tonic anymore
