They ABSOLUTELY over ice their drinks. That being said my oldest child and I get the refreshers very frequently and always ask for no ice because we don't like it super cold and no matter what size we order they always say no problem and happily make it. So stupid to clog the courts with this nonsense instead of just asking politely for it the way you want it- you know THE BASIS OF STARBUCKS! The way they got their name- half caf. Grande- soy milk- no whip- ect BUT God forbid you ask for less ice! What an idiot.

I work at a coffee shop and some of my customers go BALLISTIC when I don't fill their cold drink to the brim with ice. What a concept that most people who order iced drinks do actually want ice in them. It's really not hard to simply ask for less ice either, not worth filing a 5 million dollar lawsuit over. And even if you're getting less liquid in an iced drink, you're still getting the same amount of espresso/syrups as a hot drink. Go cry me a river and support a local coffee shop if you can't handle it.

Bro I work at a coffee shop and we sell this sweetened ice tea. This lady likes the drink but wants it again but less ice. What this means is there will be more tea making it less sweet and we told her that. and no joke she came back 10 minutes later saying she didn’t like it.

Let me sue McDonald's for not adding enough lettuce

She could have easily told the barista, "please, no ice!". If I was the judge, I would sentence her to a mental institution! What a LUNATIC!

Too much ice in my latte? No problem, I thought; ask for 10% ice in the cup. Now the milk to espresso ratio is too high. Can't ask for more espresso without getting charged more for an already $6 drink. I have been a loyal customer of Starbucks for over 8 years. The time has come for me to buy my own espresso machine. This is the end. If many other people come to the conclusion that they are tired of getting nickeled and dimed by this company, then Starbucks will go the way of Toys R Us. Starbucks didn't used to be this way.

Just ask for the ice on the side, there you got 2 drinks for the price of one

One time I asked for light ice and they put in like 10 of the tiny ice cubes they use. 😂 I think they took light too seriously.

This is such a stupid argument. Next thing you know, people are going to get mad about the color of Starbucks cups.

All food places do this when ice is in a drink, you go to any fast food place and get a soda 70% of it is normally ice. It is a smart way of saving money for large corporations because most people never say the magic words "No ice" or at least "Light Ice". But you can say it, and guess what? You don't have an ice problem anymore, same thing with Starbucks so this lawsuit is kind of pointless. XD

So go up to the counter, show them your drink filled with ice, get a free drink for complaining it.
I guess it's not the American way if you don't sue someone for swindling you
