I have a top of the line LG Dryer, and it's not a very good dryer, I really dislike the lint filter. which catches lint on both sides and a lot of lint hangs beyond the lint trap. All this makes it hard to clean. Something is really wrong with the design. My Maytag, (actual original Maytag brand) is a much better dryer. The fact that the moisture sensor is poor makes the entire machine suspect. It's probably better for people to look for a different brand of dryer. I think the sensor issue may be related to the poor design of the lint trap. LG needs to do some testing and figure out what's wrong with the air flow that doesn't pass properly through the lint trap. It's probably the reason the moisture sensor is off too. Some of my clothes don't get dry, and I have to run the dryer two or even three times. This is on an almost $1, 000.00 retail "Steam" dryer.

Sensor dry is a joke. Leaves clothes damp. Just use timed dry

So I put the time manually but it still stops randomly. Anybody know how to specifically do it? Like what drying mode do I chose? I press buttons but nothing happens.

Can you turn this feature off and how so?

I don’t want to understand it, I want to disable it.

Oh yes, "just use your timed heat"! With timed heat you can't change it from High heat, so if you need something drier that can't take high heat, you can just hang it on a hanger and let it air dry, because your fancy, expensive dryer keeps turning off after a minute on low heat because it "senses" dryness. I hate these electronic machines. Give me one with knobs any day. My machines should not be in charge!

Why doesn't the dryer manual have a diagram that shows what all the light indicators mean??? Dumb

Moisture sensors are just piece of metal. That's all. And very not accurate. Always cloths are damp even run more than 1hr anti-bacterial mode.(Don't blame air vent. My air vent is a new one without any lint) Never ever LG again.

Ok I told you before how to fix your mobile department and you never listened. Now I’m telling you before your appliance division goes under. Fix your drier sensor. It doesn’t work! It has not worked since day one when I bought it for way too much money. I’m never buying LG Appliances again (Except for your refrigerator) my microwave, washer and dryer don’t work properly. Be ashamed LG
