I previously only shot JPEG, partly because I did not want to deal with any computer software raw processors. However, I recently learned about Fuji's in camera raw converter (press playback + Q), which brings up a menu where you can conveniently edit your raw files and then save them on your camera. Now I shoot JPEG + raw and get the best of both worlds. I shoot N JPEGS, but with the raw converter, I can save the raw files as fine, as well as change the exposure, film simulations, etc.

Question when shooting jpegs. Do you leave settings at default or do you have highlights, shadows, Colours etc adjusted. Thanks

I always shot RAW and JPEG. If I could only shot one it would be RAW.

In my own opinion, every beginner photographer should learn to shoot in jpeg and not raw. Enough of the raw hype.
